Noises From the Shed, board building by Glass Tiger Surfboards

A brief insight into how Mark Roberts from Glass Tiger makes his unique wooden surfboards. Glass Tiger is a small company based in Falmouth, Cornwall, making hand crafted wooden surfboards with a lightweight foam core. He has developed a construction method that produces an exceptionally strong, yet light and responsive surfboard, that if looked after will last for years, maybe even a life time. All the processes and materials Mark uses are carefully considered to reduce their environmental impact.

Surfers Take Different Paths During the Vietnam War!

Between the Lines explores the choice that most draft age surfers faced during the Vietnam War era: either go to war or evade the draft. It was one or the other. Between the Lines delves into the lives of two surfers who choose opposite paths, Pat Farley and Brant Page.

Many of the film's personalities are expected to be in attendance and the theater lobby will be filled with a variety of Vietnam photos and memorabilia. CSM member Bruce Blandy will display the surfboard he crafted in Vietnam. DVDs of the film will be available for sale, as well as the companion book honoring the movie and the first-ever Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Paddleout (which was held in Oceanside in 2007).
